Dr Jewell is a  published writer and the Health Expert for www.eHow.com  (Demand Media) and Examiner.com, writing and publishing articles and videos on health, medicine and living healthy green lifestyle. She is a successful entreprenuerial business woman running two companies, JewellTV.com and Jewell Productions, which she started several years ago to support her humanitarian  and health projects. She is a British born bilingual Asian with a British accent and speak Cantonese.

 

Currently, Dr Jewell is studying to be liscensed in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Acupunture to expand and broaden her field of expertise to intergrate western and eastern medicine to improve healthcare and to teach the global communities how we can utillize this paradigm change in looking at health and diseases by balancing and incorporating both philosophies and concepts to help improve our lives.

 

Dr Jewell  trained and worked in clinical research medicine in the field of cancer and AIDS/HIV at National Cancer Institute (NIH), UCLA School of Medicine, She received several prestigious awards/fellowships from NIH, notably Cancer Research Training Award (CRTA), National Research Scientist Award (NRSA), and several scholarships. Over the years, she has been active in educating and increasing awareness to the western communities about exploring and incorporating ancient Chinese therapeutic modalities along with cutting edge biomedical science and technology in research medicine to heal the body and the mind.

 

Dr Jewell is the CEO of her companies, www.JewellTV.com and Jewell Productions. They are popular TV websites promoting humanitarian, and charitable events in the entertainment industry and educational medical, health and green lifestyle living. She is currently hosting her weekly live
